Does SmoothWizard change the BIOS?

It does not write firmware. The BIOS tab is a view of what Windows can see, plus a restart into UEFI. The restart message says plainly that nothing is saved. You change the BIOS yourself. We do not tell you to flash the BIOS if the PC works and the problem is overlay stutter.

If a row says “Unread”, Windows cannot see it. That does not mean the option is off.
